GDC Technology (“GDC”), a world leading digital cinema solution provider, is pleased to announce the signing of a major contract in China. Under the new agreement, Dadi Digital Cinema Development Limited (“Dadi”) will deploy 100 units of GDC’s SA-2100 Digital Cinema Server in China by the middle of 2009. A roll out target of 300 servers by 2010 has also been set.

January 22, 2009Claims that four billion Indians a year visit the movies are questioned by Dodona Research in its latest report, Cinemagoing India. Instead Dodona estimates that cinema admissions in India are in the region of 1.5 billion, with admissions to ‘Bollywood’ films outside the country adding a few tens of millions more.
